Let’s admit it when we accomplish something big we tend to feel happy and proud of it. But there is a danger if we don’t know how to deal with accomplishments.

There is no problem feeling happy for yourself, the problem comes in when we started to think that we are ahead of others. I mean when we started to judge others because you think they lack knowledge. Until you lose respect with them. That’s a bad habit.

Also, accomplishments tend us to stop taking more actions. It gives us permission to delay our planned actions. Most of the time we are unconscious about these things. That’s why it’s important to establish self-awareness within us.

Establishing self-awareness is so hard especially if we don’t practice accepting mistakes because we don’t want to hurt ourselves. It’s hard to accept that sometimes we are arrogant when we accomplish something. As I write this paragraph I started to think and assess myself (it hurts me). Because sometimes I feel too proud of myself (I have to accept it’s a bad habit).

If we are aware and accept our bad habits, we can consciously choose to fix that. Becoming an entrepreneur is a lot of self-discipline. The more freedom we have the more discipline we need to build in ourselves. Discipline in our thoughts and actions.

Disciplining ourselves to sometimes shut our mouth when we feel that we just want to boast our accomplishments just to place ourselves above everyone without any good intention and reason. I know it’s hard and I’m still practicing it. But for me, it is a requirement of an entrepreneur.

Let’s do our best not letting our accomplishments stop us to move forward. Let’s stay humble. Let’s be happy and celebrate but don’t boast it. I hope you get the point.
