How To Prepare Your Mind And Body For The Battle

Being an entrepreneur is a tough job. If you are not well prepared you would lose the battle.

The battle I’m referring to is the battle between your positive and negative thoughts. And your positive and negative emotions. If your mind is being controlled by negative thoughts, it manifests with your body.

It’s very important to prepare yourself for that battle in the morning. You have to release all negative emotions and thoughts by doing some physical activities like running, jogging or biking.

I suggest making a habit to disconnect yourself to social media apps (or any same distractions).

Wake up early (like 5:30 am) and spend 30 mins by focusing on your breathing. You have to identify what you are thinking and what emotions you are feeling at that moment. Are you feeling sad? worried? happy? In this way, you are practicing being honest with your thoughts and feelings.

Then you can release those negative emotions by running or jogging. While doing it, listen to your favorite music to change your mood. Or, you can also listen to motivational audio books to feel motivated.

Make it a habit. I know it is hard. Waking up early is really a tough decision. The battle starts there whether you wake up or just lay on your bed. If you win that first battle, most likely you would also win all the battles throughout your day.

In business, there are lots of decision making that we have to face. Most of those decisions are based on what you feel at that moment. So, if you don’t release those negative emotions, the result of your decisions might not be favorable.

Remember, it’s not just preparing your presentation or organizing your tasks, it’s about preparing your mind and body for the battles you are going to face throughout your day.
