There was a young boy whose job was a street barker.
He called passengers for a ride in exchange for two peso coins (coins in the Philippines)
There was a high-class restaurant near the place he was doing his job.
His dream was someday he could afford to eat there at the restaurant.
In spite of the little money he was getting, it did not become an excuse for not reaching his desire.
Every day, he stayed outside the restaurant and took a glimpse of his dream. He was watching people who were happily eating their food.
He was trying to imagine he was inside satisfying the delicious meal that he hasn’t tasted in his entire life.
Every day, he saved one peso coin for his dream and the other one peso coin to buy medicine for his sick mother.
To make the story short. He was able to reach his dream despite seemingly impossible to attain.
If you want to achieve something, you have to pay the price. It doesn’t matter how slowly you go.
What’s important is you don’t stop dreaming, and you don’t stop taking action to reach the desire of your heart.
It might be hard that could end up thinking you wanted to quit. Yes it’s hard, but not impossible.
Remember, in order to get what you want, you have to pay the price.
